Microscopy movies to study the dynamics of cortical CYK-1 foci in C. elegans during early actomyosin flow by imaging fluorescence recovery after photo-bleaching. One-cell C. elegans embryos were obtained from animals grown at room temperature, after 24 hours of feeding with E. coli carrying rga-3 RNAi or L4440 (control) constructs, using a Nikon Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope with an Andor DU-888 camera, 100x oil objective, 50 ms Exposure, ~20 frames per second, and maximum laser intensity. Strain SWG017, from Reymann et al (2016) eLife, was used for all movies, and has the following genotype: cyk-1(ges1[cyk-1::eGFP + LoxP unc-119 (+) LoxP]III) Data was collected in Stephan Grill's lab by Porfirio Quintero-Cadena (Caltech, Paul Sternberg's Lab) and Teije Corneel Middelkoop (Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, Dresden, Stephan Grill's Lab)
