Description

The area of 16.3 square miles described in this thesis lies to the northeast of the town of Whittier in the southeast corner of Los Angeles County, California. It is bounded by the Alluvium which surrounds the area on all sides except in La Habra Canyon where Hudson Road has been taken as the boundary. The Form thus outlined is somewhat elongated in a northwest-southeast direction. Its maximum length is about six and a half miles.
