Description

The data set comprises 6 nuclear resonant inelastic X-ray scattering (NRIXS) spectra that have been recorded on single crystals of delta-(Al,Fe)OOH. For each of the three crystals, X1, X2, and X3, two spectra have been recorded with different orientations. The orientations are specified in terms of the lattice planes (hkl) that were placed perpendicular to the incident X-ray beam. All NRIXS spectra were recorded at beamline 3-ID-B of the Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory and at ambient conditions. The spectra are organized into 6 project folders, one for each spectrum, that can be opened with the software PHOENIX (available at www.nrixs.com) to reproduce the analysis.
