Description
Demonstration of the earthquake causal attribution algorithm (Wang and Avouac, 2025) with a synthetic catalog generated from an extended ETAS model. The authors would also like to acknowledge the original versions of the model-independent stochastic declustering algorithm provided by David Marsan and Olivier Lengliné, the nearest-neighbor distance algorithm provided by Ilya Zaliapin, and the ETAS simulator provided by Karen Felzer.
