each .mat file contains processed PIV data from PIVVIEW from PIVtec which was output in TECPLOT ASCII format and parsed with a custom matlab script.

each .mat file contains a data structure which contains feilds for each tested throttle setting.

throttle values range from 1000-2000us, with 100 being fully reversed (blowdown mode), 1500 is neutral and 2000 us full foward (suction mode).

within each throttle field, there are 200 fields which consist of the 199 PIV vector fields and one average field from 200 raw video frames.

The headers for these data columns are provided in the header.txt file in this folder.

data is in raw px/frame units, conversion to physical units is possible using the frame rates recorded in the throttle field name, stride information (frame gap used for processing), and 41.8 px/cm.

These DPIV measurements were taken simultaneously with the CTA voltage readings in the accompanying folder, so these values can be used to calibrate those voltages into flow velocity information.
