Description

This data accompanies "Elevation anomalies of the volcanic floor unit and their relationships to the multiple lakes of Jezero crater, Mars." Annex & Ehlmann, GRL, 2023.

Included are several GeoPackage (.gpkg) files containing vector GIS map layers for cross sections, elevation profile measurements, surface fit points, and surface fit boundaries.

.TIF and .VRT files correspond to various HiRISE and CTX DEMs, orthomosaic products, detrended elevation data, and relative topographic position data. 

A Jupyter notebook file (detrend_topo_procedure.ipynb) contains the code for performing the ordinary least squares regression of the elevation data.

The original CTX DEM and orthomap was sourced from Mangold et al., 2021, Perseverance rover reveals an ancient delta-lake system and flood deposits at Jezero crater, Mars, Science. https://doi.org/10.1126/science.abl4051.
